1. What this site is
AirFilterKits.com publishes general reference information about home air filtration — sizes, ratings, maintenance, and DIY air cleaner builds — plus browser tools that apply published conventions to numbers you enter. Informational only.
2. No professional or medical advice
Nothing here is medical, HVAC-engineering, or other professional advice, and nothing creates a professional relationship. Air quality decisions for people with health conditions belong with their clinician; equipment-compatibility decisions for a specific HVAC system belong with a qualified technician who can see it.
3. DIY projects are at your own judgment
Build guides (such as the Corsi-Rosenthal box) describe widely used, independently tested designs. You are responsible for your own build: using listed, undamaged electrical equipment per its manufacturer's instructions, supervising appropriately, and applying common sense. We are not the manufacturer of anything you assemble.
4. Accuracy, and its limits
We source performance claims to published tests and date our verification, but we can't promise the site is error-free or current at the moment you read it. The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AirFilterKits.com and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for property damage, equipment damage, or personal injury arising from or relating to your use of the site, its content, its tools, or any project it describes — even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions; there, liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted.
6. Advertising, affiliate links and third parties
The site displays third-party advertising (currently Google AdSense) and contains affiliate links — see the disclosures page. Ads, linked retailers, and the products they sell are their providers' responsibility; we're not a party to your transactions with them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything a retailer does.
7. Intellectual property
Original text, design and code are © AirFilterKits.com. The Corsi-Rosenthal design itself is an open, community-shared concept — credit belongs to its inventors and the researchers who tested it. Quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link; don't republish substantial portions.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the site unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, misrepresent its content, or interact fraudulently with its advertising.
9. Changes
We may update the site and these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Continued use means acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules; disputes go to that jurisdiction's courts unless mandatory consumer law where you live provides otherwise.
